Etrel Svetovanje in druge storitve doo (ETREL), founded in 2007, is an SME focused on development and manufacturing of products in the field of electro-mobility, and provision of ICT services for the power sector.

A major part of Etrel's activities is oriented towards the development of integrated electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, which comprise hardware products (charging stations for private, public, and commercial use), charging infrastructure management software, and front-end software for interaction between end users, their service providers, and the charging infrastructure. With support of a strong R&D team, Etrel has evolved on the market into a fast-growing manufacturing company and a global trendsetter for EV charging solutions.

Besides HW and SW solutions, Etrel offers also services related to system integration of complex EV charging systems, elaboration of studies for local authorities and governmental institutions on the field of e-mobility and power system, SW development of technical information systems, analytical data processing, industrial automation and automation of processes in the power sector.

ETREL will contribute in the project with its expertise on the fields of development and integration of electric vehicle charging systems, and of operation of distribution system and energy market from point of view of their requirements towards end users (DR strategies).

Specifically, ETREL will contribute in the following activities of the project:
- identification of distribution system’s and energy market’s functional requirements, focused on charging of electric vehicles,
- definition of technical requirements related to electric vehicle charging system (functionalities, interfaces),
- definition of detailed system architecture,
- development and implementation of interfaces between electric vehicle charging infrastructure (charging station, charging management system) and higher control levels,
- development and implementation of algorithms implemented in components of electric vehicle charging infrastructure to enable its operation according to GOFLEX system requirements.
